The Exorcist ~ Research

1973 saw the release of the William Friedkin movie, 'The Exorcist', which along with sheer terror and shock brought disbelief amongst the religious community who till that day hadn't even dreamt of viewing such a thing. The whole idea of bringing a religious prophecy to life became too much for the viewing public of whom some began to truly believe that what they were seeing was real. The movie then went on to being banned for many years until in the year 2000 it was released again to a less naive and fearsome audience...

'The Exorcist', 1973, has influenced us as a group very much because of it's use of lighting and colour. It is protrayed as a dark and disturbing world where the sun never shines and where colours beyond grey's and blue's do not exist. This is what we as a group plan to create in our trailer...A sadistic world of pain and deceit.
