Our media production consists of a horror trailer, which will feature a disillusioned female protagonist who as a result of being badly mistreated by men in the past, seeks revenge on innocent men by murdering them.
Throughout this past week, all the group members have been using lesson time to pitch ideas for the story boards, in which we have all contributed.
I have also been collecting relevant research on the conventions of trailers and specific horror trailers; such as "Silence of the lambs" as the narrative proves similar to our trailer. By researching other trailers, it provides me with an insight into the suitable conventins that will need to be present in my trailer, such as the camera shots, mise-en-scene and the duration of a trailer. Over the next week, all the group members will be finishing of the storyboards for our trailer and finding suitable locations for our trailer. We also hope to start filming as we will be prepared.
