Research On Movie Trailers

-> For the practical production, i researched on many movie trailers which are realetd to our type of genre which is horror, i did this reasearch to have other ideas to include in our practical production, as we are doing our story boards.
i did the research on the movie "The Omen, 2006" which i analysed. I watched it many times and i saw what is the appropriate time for the trailer it is form 1 to two minutes it cant go over the limited time. i drew the story board for the trailer just to try and have some ideas of what other scenes to add, i also saw how long each scene on the trailer lasts.

-> This trailer is letting the audience to try to find what is going to happen next and it makes us confused by what is happening because at the beginning it starts with happy scenes it is making this enigma because it will suddenly changes to horror but we dont know how, we just horror scenes later but we really dont know why it suddenly changes. that what will appeal to the audience and they will go and see the movie to see why it started with happy scenes a birthday happening then horror scenes.
-> Most of the scenes are really dark that is low key lighting, so that is giving us the idea that horror movies are mostly dark scenes that is a good point to use for our production, happy scenes were in high key lighting.
